We are seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional to support our educational team in providing exceptional learning experiences for students. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in educational settings, particularly those with special needs or diverse learning requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children, preferably in a classroom or educational setting
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
- Familiarity with special education practices and principles
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
- Previous experience in deaf education, Montessori, or private school settings is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.63 - $23.95 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) to support student learning and development Collaborate with teachers to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as directed by the teacher.
* Support students with behavioral management and social skills development* Help students with academic tasks and reinforce learning concepts
* Assist in maintaining a safe and organized classroom setting.
Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
* After School
* Day shift
* Monday to Friday
